surgery
Hi
since having injections left hand is feeling better again but right hand although less painful is still tingling when i saw you you said surgery was probably the better option so could i get appointment to have my right hand done
regards
chris morris
when i had the injections i was thinking that they would provide relief while i wait for appointment to have the surgery although my right hand is still tingly the pain is almost gone so the desired effect was achieved.
i would like to go ahead and get my right hand done as this is the most troublesome and see how i get on, then get the left hand done at a later date.
If i could get it done at the WHH it would be easier for me

I've sent a referral to the orthopaedic department at the WIlliam Harvey. Let me know what they come up with by way of an appointment please (it will be out-patients first not surgery) - I have no easy way of finding out what happens to you once I make a referral to orthopaedics unless you let me know. I have still not heard from the william harvey orthopaedic dept i am begining to think i should have just gone with the herne bay appointment as i was only looking at convenience of whh being closer to home

We'll try to chase up the orthopaedic appointments people and see if they have actually got the referral and whether they have any idea when an appointment might be forthcoming. I'll post back on here when I have some news. JB
I can find you a surgery slot in Herne Bay on 14th December or we could make a referral to orthopaedics at the William Harvey who might (or might not) be quicker. Either way it is only a week since injection and you do sometimes get slightly delayed responses - which is why we generally plan to review them at about 6 weeks - so I wouldn't give up hope for it yet. No harm in setting the surgery trail in motion though if you want me to do that. JB
