After thinkinhg about my situation as you advised, I have decided that I would like to go for having the operation.Could you tell me how long I should expect to wait?

I can arrange this for you in the surgery in primary care scheme about the end of August/beginning of September in Whitstable or Herne Bay - or we can ask the orthopaedic surgeons to do it - which will be a little more unpredictable. As an uncomplicated case I would probably opt for the primary care route and we should agree an exact date on the phone when I am available next week. Give me a call with your diary to hand on Monday and we will try to find you a date. If you get the answerphone just leave a short message and I will call back - it just means I am with another patient.
