Hand number 2
Booked in for Friday 20th for second hand to be done, very quick as was not expecting to have it done till mid January
Successful but still in a lot of pain from the wound still and also hurts to move my wrists. Having left hand done this time

I see surgery was 12th October so it's been 8 weeks and still painful? Have they offered any hand therapy to try and improve matters? It would be interesteing to see another symptom score at this point if you can spare the time to add one. JB
Just told to massage scar, numbness gone apart from little finger, dr Nichols thinks had reaction to stitches as scar still very painful and very purple. Did not think it would still be hurting now like it is

I presume the first one has turned out well then? Which one did they go for? They were both much the same when we tested them so it's probably reasonable to carry on quickly with the second hand if the first is successful. JB
