symptoms getting worse

The splint you gave me in August was fine at first and my symptoms seemed to disappear. Unfortunately they've got much worse since the beginning of October. My hand is uncomfortable/painful at night and wakes me up 2 - 3 times. It's often very tingly during the day now and my wrist is much weaker.

Thanks for your reply. It feels like the same only worse. I'm just puzzled by the sudden worsening.

It's a very unpredictable disorder - it could improve again just as randomly. If you would like it injected we will contact you to make arrangements for that. JB
I suppose I'd better go for that. It's certainly very annoying and uncomfortable at the moment.

We can inject it for you on Monday next week (30th December) here. Or I can get it done at a GP surgery - probably not your own, though that might take a little longer. JB
It sounds as though it may be getting worse. We could either proceed to injection at this point or we could re-test and see if it is measurably worse. Personally I would probably go straight for the injection as long as it still feels like the same disorder to you. JB
