Getting worse.

Dear Dr Bland,
I posted a message in November 2013 explaining how I think the Carpal tunnel has returned in my left hand. It is getting worse and also my right hand is worse which I had no treatment. I was wondering how long the waiting list for an appointment is only you said you weregoing to send me an appointment and I haven't heard anything yet.

I'm sorry about that, looking at the date I see that conversation was on a Wednesday evening of a rather hectic week. Because I mostly check the website when I'm not in the office I do occasionally forget to do things that I can't do at the time I am replying on the forum. The problem isn't always me, as in the other posting this evening where a letter seems to have gone astray, but in this case it seems to be my fault. We don't actually have much of a waiting list as such - I generally send out appointments for about 2-3 weeks ahead to allow people to sort out their own schedules but I can often fit in quicker appointments if I need to see people. I rely on patients a bit to remind me if I seem to have forgotten something and perhaps I need to add a bit of a standard warning to my replies to give me a nudge if nothing seems to be happening. I've set something in motion now. If you haven't heard anything by the end of the week let me know please. JB
