Please arrange surgery
Dear Doctor Bland I contacted you in June last year to tell you that my father, Ronald Murray, could not complete your follow-up questionnaire as he suffered a stroke in April and has been left with severe speech and memory problems. He is suffering terribly with his left hand and he would like to have the same surgery as he had on his right hand as that has given him great relief. Could you possibly arrange for this to be done for him as soon as possible? I hold the Lasting Power of Attorney for my father . I thank you in anticipation of your help,

And apologies from me - I have been away at a conference in Berlin. We will be in touch as we really need to test again to figure out what we are dealing with. The situation could well have changed since September 12 when we last had contact. JB
It looks as though we may have a problem with the new anticoagulant he has been started on - which may complicate surgery. We will be in touch to see what can be done. JB
