feet and ankles

Hi
I forget to ask you the other day on here about my feet and ankles. I get a lot of pain and numbness in my feet and ankles, especially when I try and walk when been sitting down, its that painful I have to shuffle to start with when I walk. do you have nerves in your feet and if so do you think it could be that?

Really concerned about the pain in ankles and severely knumb feet. What should I do,?

I have to say start with your GP for those symptoms - I'm very definitely not a generalist and we seem to be dealing with a completely different problem there so lets give your GP a chance to take a look and see what sort of problem you are facing to begin begin with. JB
You have nerves everywhere - but I think quite a lot of us stiffen up when not moving. It takes my ankles and knees two or three minutes to get going in the morning now. When excessive (lasting hours) it can be sign of inflammatory joint disease but there are usually other signs to go with that too. JB
